Based on the XXL systems from the 1900 Peterson catalogue, the Peterson House pipe is an enormous pipe with colossal dimensions. Sometimes, it’s called a “system on steroids” because they’re simply too large to carry around and too heavy to hold in your mouth. You’ll want to smoke them at home, settled into a comfortable chair for a very long session with a good book.

The finishes vary from smooth, sandblast, and rustic to straight billiard and bent shapes, all with Sterling silver bands. The finishes include terracotta, natural, ebony, and oak.

Due to the shortage of briar large enough in today’s trade, Peterson struggles to obtain high-quality blocks to meet the demand for the House series. Consequently, we can go years without receiving a delivery. In the past, we’ve had customers on a waiting list for over a year, eagerly awaiting their preferred pipe to be manufactured.
