Peterson System Spigot Peterson spigots are notoriously rare and usually take pride of place in any collection. The Spigot evolved on the front lines as soldiers repaired their pipe with a spent cartridge. Peterson evolved this into hallmarked sterling silver band and tapered fitting on the stem of a high grade pipe. A well finished attractive pipe with the world famous Peterson system and unique P.Lip mouthpiece.

Peterson Smooth System Spigot Filter Briar Pipe 304 The Peterson Smooth Spigot is the same pipe as the the Rustic System Spigot but with a smooth finish. The 304 is a flat bottomed full-bent billiard with a nice deep bowl that gives a generous fill for the size of the pipe yet still smokes smaller fills very well. It feels slightly less dainty than the other pipes in the series and has a flat bottom which enables the pipe to stand unaided while resting which is great for keeping the sideboard clear of ash and you in the good books with the other half.

9mm Absorbent Filter The Peterson 9mm are designed for use with any 9mm Absorbent Filters. The larger diameter allows more smoke to pass through the filter, with less restriction, which makes for a better draw compared to the 6mm filters. The highly absorbent filters have a very high surface area resulting in excellent absorption of the tar as the smoke passes through without affecting draw or flavour. No mess no fuss, simply throw the filter in the bin when it turns a dark brown colour. The pipes have a standard 9mm bore so can be used with any brand of 9mm filter if preferred. Alternatively the filter can be removed altogether for smokers who prefer a totally un-restricted full on smoke.

P.Lip mouthpiece: The Pl.ip is a unique mouthpiece designed to greatly enhance the smokers experience. The lip is shaped to fit the mouth more comfortably with the tongue pressed under the lip. The smoke exits on the top of the lip, which significantly reduces tongue bite from even the most bitter smoking tobacco's.
