Now this… this is Peterson showing what they do best.
A big bent billiard, proper presence to it — not oversized for the sake of it, just confidently proportioned. The bowl’s got a lovely fullness, and that gentle bend through the stem gives it a relaxed, easy posture.
The finish is where it really comes alive. A deep, dark polish that lets the grain do its thing — and from the photos, there’s plenty of it. Tight, swirling patterns with a richness you only really get when the briar’s been chosen well in the first place.
Then there’s the silver band — bright, clean, and properly fitted. Not decoration for the sake of it, but a bit of occasion, as it should be for a 160th anniversary piece.
And being No. 1904 of 2400, it’s got that quiet sense of being part of something limited, without making a song and dance about it.
A serious pipe, made properly, and one you’ll keep reaching for.
