Pure Latakia is exactly what it says—nothing but Latakia, with all the campfire soul you’d expect. The leaf’s ribbon-cut, dark, and dry to the touch. It used to be Syrian, but for the last decade it's been Cypriot, and the character remains undeniably bold: rich smoke, leather, peat, and oak all tied neatly together.

It’s not dressed up—no sweetness, no dampness, just pure woodsmoke with a sharp edge. You can puff it neat, though it’s more often used to strengthen your own English blends or give a classic Va‑Per a bit of backbone.

Straight out of the tin it lights steady, burns clean, and hangs on longer than you’d think for such dry leaf. The flavour’s assertive—earthy and spicy, with just enough perfume to keep it interesting. Plenty of nicotine soul there, but the burn stays cool.
