Cornell and Diehl Bijou Now here’s a proper smoke for the smokers who like a bit of kick in their bowl. Bayou Night is not what you’d call gentle—this one’s got muscle. We’re talking 50% Perique, and no, that's not a typo. It’s got more meat than a butcher’s breakfast and a strength that’ll test your mettle if you’re not ready for it.

Cornell & Diehl didn’t come here to coddle you. The blend’s rounded out with Virginia, Burley, Turkish, and Latakia, but make no mistake, the Perique is front and centre. It’s earthy, peppery, and rich with that fermented fig-and-black-pepper quality Perique fans love.

Despite its strength, it’s beautifully balanced. There’s depth to it. You’ll catch wafts of smoky campfire, dark fruit, and a sort of rustic edge that reminds us of old river towns and foggy Louisiana nights. Best enjoyed after a hearty meal and not when you’re running out the door.
