Savinelli, Autograph Pipes Ferrari have given the Italians a reasonable edge in the world of motoring but that's not all they strive at. Since 1876 Savinelli have kept the Italians at the pinnacle of the pipe manufacturing game! As if the normal range of Savinelli pipes doesn't stand them in high enough regard Savinelli also raise the bar with their Autograph range. They don't come much finer! Savinelli somehow manage to secure the finest Briar with absolute stunning grains. These are reserved for their most experienced craftsmen to make the one off freehand masterpieces labeled Autograph. There are many stunning freehands about but Savinelli seem to lead the way!

Savinelli Autograph 31 Panel This pipe was on display at the latest UK trade show, The Black Swan Shoppe was the first on the stand and instantly snapped it up. Totally unique and simply stunning! The grain is an almost flawless straight grain as you would expect from a AA graded Savinelli with some very unique styling from the craftsman. We love the contrast of the sandblast base against the smooth carved rings on the bowl. The rim of the bowl has also been delicately sandblasted for another truly stunning pipe. (we say that quite a lot with Savinelli autographs)

Balsa wood filter Unique to Savinelli is their Balsa wood filter system. The triangular shape does not form a seal in the bore of the pipe so allows an un-restricted full flavoured draw but the extremely porous and highly absorbent nature of the Balsa wood is very effective at removing moisture and impurities form the smoke. And for those who prefer a totally unfiltered smoke Savinelli provide a plug to block the system.
