As if the normal range of Savinelli pipes doesn't stand them in high enough regard Savinelli also raise the bar with their Autograph range. They don't come much finer! Savinelli somehow manage to secure the finest Briar with absolute stunning grains. These are reserved for their most experienced craftsmen to make the one off freehand masterpieces labeled Autograph. There are many stunning freehands about but Savinelli seem to lead the way!

Savinelli Autograph 8 Briar Pipe The grain on this is about as perfect as you will ever see, the flame grain runs upwards from the Birds Eye on the base just absolutely flawlessly up to the rim of the bowl. The shank has an unusual Lucite inlay paired with a briar ring finished with a black acrylic stem for another stunning Autograph pipe.

Balsa wood filter Unique to Savinelli is their Balsa wood filter system. The triangular shape does not form a seal in the bore of the pipe so allows an un-restricted full flavoured draw but the extremely porous and highly absorbent nature of the Balsa wood is very effective at removing moisture and impurities form the smoke. And for those who prefer a totally unfiltered smoke Savinelli provide a plug to block the system.
