Chacom Pipes (St Claude) Chacom is a family owned company who can trace their pipe making heritage to 1825 before Briar was even discovered. They are based in St Claude which is widely recognised as the pipe making capital of the world. They are one of very few pipe manufacturers who make pipes from start to finish. From ageing the Briar right through to hand finishing.

Chacom Pipe of the year 1995 S1000 It's not often that a piece of history comes across our desk but this is a pipe of the year from a quarter of a century ago!! A canted Dublin shaped bowl combined with expert craftsmanship makes for a very comfortable and perfectly balanced pipe which looks simply stunning. Only the finest Plateaux Briar is carefully sourced and hand selected specifically for the Pipe Of The Year and it really shows in the stunning ring grain patterns throughout the range. The pipe is a sandblasted brown bowl with a deluxe ebonite Cumberland stem with brass inlay. The S1000 is finished in a rich dark brown stain which enhances every ounce of character in the intricate grain pattern of the Plateaux Briar.

Filter Choice The Chacom Pipe Of The Year 1995 pipe can be smoked with a condensing filter (included) or alternatively the filter can be removed altogether for smokers who prefer a totally un-restricted full on smoke.
