Pueblo Pink isn’t a reinvention—it’s a calibration.
Pöschl, the German house behind Pueblo (est. 1902), has always leaned toward a cleaner, additive-free philosophy, but Pink is where they’ve deliberately softened the edges. Not by adding anything artificial, but by rebalancing the leaf itself.
This sits neatly between their Classic and Blue blends—aimed at those who want something smoother, lighter in impact, and easier to settle into. You’ll notice it immediately: the tobacco is paler in colour, and the smoke follows suit—milder, rounder, and far less sharp than heavier blends.
The blend is built with intent. More low-nicotine leaf to keep things gentle, supported by just enough richer tobacco to stop it becoming thin. Virginias bring a touch of warmth and sweetness, Burley adds body, and a little Oriental leaf lifts the aroma without overpowering it.
The result is something quite measured—soft, balanced, and clean on the finish, without that harsh edge or ammonia bite you sometimes get elsewhere.
Still additive-free. Just… better judged.
