Peterson Aran Peterson are well know for taking inspiration from their Irish home. From places and landscapes, colours, weather and history. The Aran range, first introduced in the 1970's, takes its name from the Aran Islands which are a group of 3 limestone islands located at the mouth of Galway Bay on the west coast of Ireland. The Aran have been finished in a light chocolate stain which makes for a beautifully refined looking pipe which is topped off with a black acrylic mouthpiece with a gold P stamp
Peterson Aran 338 The Peterson Aran 338 is a smaller, lightweight, full bent briar with a straight billiard bowl. It has slightly thinner walls to keep the weight down but not too thin that this pipe will overheat. It has a good deep bore for longer smokes but the bore isn’t too big meaning it is also suitable for shorter smokes without wasting Tobacco. A great all rounder with stunning aesthetics.
Fishtail mouthpiece: Peterson’s trademark patented mouthpiece is the p.lip design, which has many advantages but unfortunately some smokers just don't get on with it. The Donegal series comes with the fishtail mouthpiece as an alternative for those who don't get on with the P.Lip.
