The Desflorado name tells you what sets these cigars apart — the flower bud of the Connecticut wrapper leaf is removed early in growth, driving all the plant’s energy back into the leaves themselves. What results is a fine, silky wrapper with an uncommon sweetness and perfume that marks it out from the rest. Hand-rolled under Abe Flores’ watch in Tamboril, these Puritos distil the balance and finesse of his full-sized A. Flores 1975 range into something far more compact.

There’s a gentle spice from the Dominican core, a trace of cedar and toasted cream from the Nicaraguan leaf, and that soft honeyed note the Desflorado process always brings. Though small, they smoke with poise and clarity — perfect for the colder months or those moments that call for a quick but distinguished smoke.
