The Desflorado name reveals their unique selling point: the flower bud of the Connecticut wrapper leaf is removed early in growth redirecting the plant’s energy to the leaves. This results in a fine silky wrapper with an unusual sweetness and perfume setting them apart. Hand-rolled under Abe Flores’ guidance in Tamboril these Puritos capture the balance and finesse of his full-sized A. Flores 1975 range in a more compact form.

A gentle spice from the Dominican core, a hint of cedar and toasted cream from the Nicaraguan leaf and that signature soft honeyed note from the Desflorado process combine to create a pleasing smoke. Despite their small size they burn with poise and clarity making them ideal for colder months or those moments requiring a quick yet distinguished smoke.
