There's something deeply satisfying about a panel pipe done well, and this Northern Briars G4 Panel Regal is a fine example of English craftsmanship at its best.

Handmade by Ian Walker, the bowl showcases four crisp, perfectly defined panels that give the pipe its confident geometric profile. The warm chestnut finish brings the briar to life, revealing beautiful flame grain sweeping up the sides and tight birdseye across the base. Every edge is cleanly executed, creating a pipe that feels substantial yet wonderfully balanced in the hand.

The softly flowing shank leads into a richly coloured Cumberland stem, its subtle marbling complementing the natural tones of the briar rather than competing with them. The generous chamber makes this an excellent companion for longer, leisurely smokes, while the panelled bowl sits comfortably in the hand and resists rolling when rested.
