You will find little evidence of stalk or birdseye in the tobacco, which larger manufacturers leave in to bulk out the tobacco and increase profits. The natural sweetness in the Virginia is fairly evident in the Maya which is comparable with the likes of Amber Leaf in flavour yet providing a smoother smoke.
