Dark Birds Eye is proper old-school tobacco — fine shag cut, strong as you like, and burns like it means it. Load it lightly or it’ll have your fingers getting warm before you’ve even settled in.

Flavour-wise, it’s all deep, dark tobacco. Earthy, slightly smoky, with that dry edge you only get from proper dark-fired leaf. No nonsense, no perfume, just straight-up strength and character.

Best in a smaller bowl unless you’re feeling brave. This is the sort of tobacco that reminds you who’s in charge.
