Bulwark Flake Substitute Unfortunately the Bulwark Flake has now been discontinued. We have made inquiries as to the closest Tobacco to rival Bulwarks unique rich body and flavour and all though not exactly the same this should be a good substitute for most. And if not it's the closest thing you will get so as we say 'up ere in Yorksha' just stick it in yer pipe 'n smoke it!

Kendal Bosun Flake The Bosun Flake is exactly the same Tobacco as the Bosun cut plug but has been processed into flake form rather than the denser plugs. The Bosun flake contains mainly flue-cured Virginias from Brazil, Zimbabwe and Malawi which are enhanced with a small addition of Dark fired leaves to give it a stronger edge. The addition of the sweeter sun cured leaf from Malawi and the rich cigar type notes from the dark air cured Indian grade help to round off the blend.

Flake Pipe Tobacco: The Gawiths Bosun Flake is sold in Flake form. Flake tobacco usually requires rubbing (breaking up) before it can be smoked. The tobacco can be rubbed to the smokers preference depending on whether they prefer a slow or fast burn rate.
