In 2016 the Black Swan Shoppe was honoured to be part of the first UK expedition to Nicaragua for over 30 years to see first hand what is happening on the Nicaraguan Cigar scene. To say we were blown away was an understatement. We were met by very passionate family owned companies and Joya in particular greeted us with tear filled passion and could not wait to show us their Cigars and the enchanting traditional processes they use to take seeds and turn them into some of the finest Cigars in the world. Every aspect of the process is done by hand by passionate people who take great pride in their work going to exceptional lengths to ensure the finished products are of the finest quality. Loose boxed: Joya Cigars are packaged loose in a branded Box The cigars are kept in our humidors until dispatch and preferably should be stored in a humidor as soon as you receive them. If you are planning on smoking them within a couple of weeks the cigars should be okay as long as they are kept sealed in a cool dark place.
