Kendal Dark Flake Aromatic Pipe Tobacco: A strong yet cool smoking, Dark Flake blended from equal proportions of Malawi Dark fired leaf and Indian Dark air cured leaf. The Flake is finished with Kendals famous Aromatic top dressing with it's unmistakably complex spicy, nutty, floral, liqueur aroma. It is a nice balanced aromatic which still allows the smokey flavours of the Malawi leaf and the Cigar style flavour of the air cured leaf through. As with all Kendal flakes it breaks up easily and burns wonderfully smooth and clean.

Kendal Aromatic Flavouring: We struggled for many years to define the Aromatic flavour produced by the Kendal firm but one of our favourite customers "Mr Horsfall" who is a well regarded pipe smoker hit the nail on the head with Turkish Delight.

Flake Pipe Tobacco: The Gawiths Kendal Dark Flake Aromatic is sold in Flake form. Flake tobacco usually requires rubbing (breaking up) before it can be smoked. The tobacco can be rubbed to the smokers preference depending on whether they prefer a slow or fast burn rate.
