Erik Stokkebye 1855 Pipe Tobacco: Erik Stokkebye's great grandfather Peter founded the family tobacco business in Denmark. Peter was known for his enthusiasm for natural tobacco flavours, so Erik named the 1855 blend in honour of this. The 1855 is a ready rubbed blend of exceptional golden mature Virginia tobaccos that demonstrates the natural sweet grassy, honey and citrus Virginia taste and aromas. Upon opening the tin, the scent is that of a clean barn with lots of hay in it, you can smell the full barn, the hay, the wood and maybe the orangery down the road on the breeze.
