Cornell & Diehl Billy Budd

Named after Herman Melville’s seafaring tale, Billy Budd isn’t a gentle mixture. It’s built on sturdy Burley, given some red Virginia for balance, then seasoned with Latakia and genuine cigar leaf. That last part tells you most of what you need to know.

The Burley forms the backbone — dry, nutty, honest. The cigar leaf adds a darker, leathery edge that comes through clearly once lit. Latakia sits in the background, smoky but not suffocating, while the Virginia keeps the whole thing from becoming flat.
