The Barling Trafalgar Fossil 1817 is a curved Rhodesian, and it wears it well—low, broad bowl with those twin bead lines sitting neatly under the rim, and just enough bend through the stem to give it that easy, settled feel in the hand.
The Fossil finish is the real talking point here. Deep, craggy sandblast—proper tactile—offset by a smooth rim and that bright metal band which lifts it nicely without overdoing it. It’s got presence, but it’s not shouting about it.
Takes a 9mm filter too, so it’s as practical as it is handsome.
A classic shape, done with a bit more attitude.
