The Barling Nelson 1818 takes a slightly more rounded approach—its bowl fuller through the base, with a gentle taper toward the rim that gives it a more settled, almost weight-forward appearance. There’s a softness to the silhouette, but it’s controlled rather than loose, the proportions carefully held in check by a clean transition into the shank.

The subtle curve through the stem reinforces that sense of flow, creating a continuous line from bowl to button. It’s an easy shape to handle, both visually and physically, without losing the sense of intention behind it.
