Barling Marylebone Fossil 9mm Apple Briar Pipe

Barling is one of those old English names that still carries a bit of weight. Founded in the early 19th century, they built their reputation on well-made briars and shapes that favour practicality over fuss.

The Marylebone line sticks closely to that idea, offering traditional forms finished in a way that makes them easy to live with day to day.

This 1816 is shaped as a straight apple, with a full, rounded bowl that gives it a softer, more relaxed feel in the hand. It’s a shape that tends to sit comfortably and smoke without much ceremony, which is usually the point.
