Barling Benjamin The Very Finest 9mm Bent Rhodesian Briar Pipe
Barling has been knocking about since 1812, quietly getting on with making proper English pipes while others shout about it. The focus has always been the same — good briar, honest shaping, and pipes that are made to be enjoyed rather than admired from a distance.
The Benjamin range carries that thinking forward rather nicely. Traditional forms, well executed, and without any unnecessary flair — just solid, dependable pipes that do exactly what they should.
This 1819 is a bent Rhodesian, and a particularly pleasing one at that. The familiar twin bead lines give it that unmistakable Rhodesian character, while the gentle bend in the stem adds a touch of comfort and a slightly more relaxed feel in hand.
Finished in the “Very Finest” smooth polish, the briar shows off a rich, warm grain with plenty of life to it, paired with a black acrylic stem and a clean metal band that ties everything together without fuss.
A shape that balances tradition with just enough curve to keep things interesting — dependable, comfortable, and quietly handsome.
