Barling is one of those proper old English names that’s been doing this since the early 1800s — starting out in silverwork before moving into pipes, and building a reputation on doing things correctly rather than loudly.

The Benjamin line tips its hat to that heritage, keeping things rooted in classic shapes and honest briar, without trying to reinvent anything that never needed fixing in the first place.

This 1818 is a curved apple — full, rounded bowl, soft lines, and just enough bend in the stem to give it a relaxed, easy posture. It sits comfortably in the hand and feels a bit more informal than a straight billiard, without losing that traditional English look.
