Whoever designed this clearly enjoyed a good whisky and a good cigar at the same time.

The Artamis GLA07 takes a solid old-fashioned tumbler and builds a cigar rest straight into the rim, leaving one hand free for topping up the fire, turning a page or settling an argument about whether Churchill really was the greatest vitola ever made.

The heavy twisted base catches the light beautifully and gives the glass a reassuring weight in the hand. It feels substantial rather than delicate, making it just as happy on the patio as it is beside the fireside.

The integrated rest comfortably holds most cigars up to around a 56 ring gauge, keeping them off the table and exactly where you left them between draws. It's a simple idea, but after using one you'll wonder why every whisky glass isn't made this way.
