Alec Bradley: First Established in Florida in 1996, Alec Bradley is the brainchild of Alan Rubin, the son of a hardware importer, who transferred his knowledge and passion of Cigars into his new venture with the help of Ralph Montero and Henke Kelner who was a cigar maker for Alfred Dunhill. Named after his 2 children, Alec Bradley has become a well known name in the cigar world and now produces between 2 and 3 million cigars each year.

Prensado Lost Art Torpedo Rolled at the Raices Cubanas (Cuban Roots) factory, the Prensado pays homage to the Cuban tradition "Entubado" which is a classic method, developed in the 17th century, of forming each leaf of filler into individual rolls and bunching them together which produces small tubes that allows the smoke to pass through all the leaves and thus carries more aroma and flavour to the palate as well as creating a slow and even burning cigar. They are then triple capped and box pressed. The cold draw provides some rich, dark, sweet notes. Upon lighting you are hit with an abundance of earthy and peppery notes with hints of sweet dark fruits on the exhale. The Prensado was named Cigar Aficionado's "Cigar of the Year" with a high rating of 96 which propelled Alec Bradley's trajectory into cigar culture quicker than they anticipated.

Loose Cigars: The Alec Bradley Prensado Torpedo leave the factory packaged loose in a Cedar lined box. This helps the cigars to develop and flavours to diffuse. They are stored in our climate controlled humidor until dispatch and ideally should be transferred directly into a humidor. If you are buying them for a special occasion they should keep for up to a week in a cool, dark place.

Hand Rolled: The tradition of being rolled on a maiden's thigh can be questioned but the added quality a cigar beholds from being hand-rolled by an experienced Cigar Roller cannot. Each cigar is rolled to the same density with full-length filler (leaves), providing the perfect draw and ash build-up, which cannot be matched by a machine.

Preparation: Please note the Alec Bradley cigars require cutting or punching before they can be enjoyed.
