The Zippo 60007380 Game Over Lighter looks like somebody’s old arcade machine has finally given up after being fed twenty quid in 10p pieces.

Absolutely brilliant, really.

The glitch-effect artwork with bright neon colours and giant GAME OVER lettering has proper retro gaming energy about it — all flickering screens, late nights and “just one more go” turning into three in the morning.

There’s a lovely chaotic look to the design too, like an old arcade cabinet having a complete electrical breakdown in the best possible way.

Very modern. Very loud. Very unapologetic.

Mind you, unlike most gaming consoles, this thing still works perfectly after a bit of abuse. It’s a genuine Zippo after all — windproof, refillable, all-metal construction and built to last years rather than needing a software update every fourteen minutes.

A cracking choice for gamers, tech lovers, retro arcade fans or anybody who appreciates a lighter with a bit of attitude to it.

And yes, the Zippo click is still more satisfying than half the buttons on modern controllers.
