Dr Plumb's Briar Pipes

The Dr. Plumb pipe brand was created and launched in 1925 by Leslie Watts Plumb and J.B. Rubinovich. Originally, these pipes were marketed as “cool smoking” pipes, thanks to a special aluminum tube that was positioned between the shank and stem. This innovative design aimed to keep the smoke cool and dry while allowing for easy cleaning by twisting the stem. Over the years, the aluminum cooling system has been replaced by a 9mm filter in modern times.

Dr. Plumb is a well-known and respected brand that has been manufacturing high-quality tobacco pipes from the finest briar wood since 1825. Although the pipes were initially produced in France, they are now British-made. Despite their long history, Dr. Plumb pipes remain affordable and continue to be enjoyed by pipe enthusiasts worldwide
