Peterson Makers Edition 2018 Spigot Pipes: The most exciting and prestigious creations to ever come out of the Peterson factory!! These pipes have created a real buzz in the pipe world as rumours started circulating in early 2017 that Peterson had discovered some pre World War II Amber stems hidden in an untouched corner of the Peterson factory. We can only imagine the beaming face of the Peterson employee who literally struck Gold when they came across these gems. I think it’s fair to say their name will be in lights as employee of the century. The discovery was accompanied with the original paperwork which accurately dates these stems to 1939 making them a genuine piece manufacturing history. Throughout 2017 we have been inundated with requests from avid Peterson fans as to what was happening with these Stems and when they can get their hands on one of these prized creations for their collections. Well with great pride we can finally announce that they have been used to make some high grade Silver Spigots and Peterson fans are already falling over themselves to get their hands on one.

Peterson have selected some of the highest grade of bowls that we have seen for a while which might explain the distinct lack of Premier system pipes available for the last couple of years. They have remarkably few flaws and absolutely no filler with some really stunning grain patterns on every one we have set eyes upon to date. They are finished in Peterson’s signature brown stain. This has a wonderful glow which highlights the stunning grain pattern as well as emphasising the beauty of the Amber stem. The pipe is finished with Peterson’s hallmarked Sterling Silver band and silver mounts on both stems

Claudio Albien Pouch This stunning pouch is made by one of Italy's most prestigious leathersmiths Claudio Albien. Made from the highest quality Italian leather, it has many compartments for your tobacco and accessories. It comes embossed with the Peterson logo on the front and a badge on the inside with the issue number (this one is number 1 of only 10 made!) also included is some Peterson tapered pipe cleaners and a Peterson pipe tool.

Peterson Sandblasted Spigot: Peterson spigots are notoriously rare and usually take pride of place in any collection. The Spigot evolved on the front lines as soldiers repaired their pipe with a spent cartridge. Peterson evolved this into hallmarked sterling silver band and tapered fitting on the stem of a high grade pipe. The pipe is elegantly finished with a sandblasted finish and a rich oak stain and topped with a Solid Silver cap.

Peterson Sandblast Spigot XL90 Briar Pipe The Peterson XL90 is an extra large bent pipe with a billiard shaped bowl which is arguable one of the most popular bowl shapes due to the comfort and unformed wall thickness. It has a larger than normal bore size yet still has good wall thickness making this an ideal fireside pipe when you have time to sit and enjoy a pipe. Despite it’s size it remains a very portable size so would suit long walks in the countryside where a pipe can be enjoyed most.

Fishtail mouthpiece: Petersons trademark patented mouthpiece is the p.lip design, which has many advantages but unfortunately some smokers just don’t get on with it. The Spigot series comes with the fishtail mouthpiece as an alternative for those who don’t get on with the P.Lip.
