Peterson Flame Grain Spigot 107 Peterson Spigots are notoriously rare and usually take pride of place in any collection. The Spigot evolved on the front lines as soldiers repaired their pipes with spent cartridges. Peterson evolved this into hallmarked sterling silver band and tapered fitting on the stem of a high grade pipe. The Briar on this pipe has been specially chosen for it's exceptional grain pattern which runs vertically from the heel up the bowl which is then highlighted with the light stain

Fishtail mouthpiece: The standard mouthpiece for most pipe manufacturers. The fishtail has the exit hole in the end of the mouthpiece. The end of the mouthpiece is flat, which some people find easier to grip, and suits the smoker who doesn’t get on with the p.lip style.
