Peterson Orange Army Spigots:
Peterson spigots are notoriously rare and usually take pride of place in any collection. The Spigot evolved on the front lines as soldiers repaired their pipe with a spent cartridge. Peterson evolved this into hallmarked sterling silver band and tapered fitting on the stem of a high grade pipe. Peterson’s famed Army Mount pipe takes on a fresh and modern look with the introduction of the Orange Army. The briar is beautifully stained by hand with an orange-brown coloring and given a lustrous finish. A hallmarked silver army band custom made for each pipe seamlessly joins the briar with its sleek marbled orange acrylic stem.
Peterson Orange Army Spigot 69:
The Peterson Orange Army Spigot 69 is a full bent briar with a mid sized, slightly tapered billiard bowl. The 69 is a very popular shape mainly due to its classic appearance but also the comfortable and manageable size, which even the least experienced pipe smokers will not be daunted by. The bowl is finished in a rich brown stain and as with all the spigots there is a hall marked sterling silver military mount. This is a tapered fitting meaning the fit will never wear loose and I guess we can say it again, it just looks fantastic!
Petersons trademark patented mouthpiece is the p.lip design, which has many advantages but unfortunately some smokers just don’t get on with it. The Spigot series comes with the fishtail mouthpiece as an alternative for those who don’t get on with the P.Lip.
