The Peterson Irish Sea is a new finish in the Peterson System Line up. It is made using the usual high quality briar but finished with a turquoise polish, which enhances the grain beautifully. The Peterson Irish Sea pipes are part of the classic range which means they do not have a specific filter and they are not a system pipe but usually have a small reservoir to collect impurities and moisture from the smoke.

The Peterson Irish Sea 606 is a straight Billiard briar, with a thick wall and large bore. This gives a straight through, full flavoured smoke without any restrictions, while the large bore and thick wall will keep the pipe smoking cool. We wouldnt recommend this for the beginner.

Fishtail mouthpiece: Petersons trademark patented mouthpiece is the p.lip design, which has many advantages but unfortunately some smokers just don't get on with it. The Donegal series comes with the fishtail mouthpiece as an alternative for those who don't get on with the P.Lip.
