The Peterson Filter 06 is not a system pipe and is designed for use with the absorbent 9mm filters, which remove a large amount of the tar and nicotine from the smoke. The straight system pipes usually have a long metal addition to the mouthpiece, which re-places the exaggerated curves. This has had to be removed for the 9mm filter. Many people smoke 9mm pipes without the filter as there is a large bore in the mouthpiece for a full on, intense smoke. This is the only time we would recommend smoking the 06 Dublin Filter without a filter.

The Peterson Dublin Filter 06 is a straight briar with a mid sized, billiard bowl. The 06 Straight has a thick wall, with a fairly deep bowl and average bore. The deep bowl makes for a versatile pipe as the fill can be varied for a short satisfying smoke or a long intense fireside session.

P.Lip mouthpiece: Unique mouthpiece designed to greatly enhance the smokers experience. The lip is shaped to fit the mouth more comfortably with the tongue pressed under the lip. The smoke exits above the lip, which significantly reduces tongue bite from even the most bitter smoking tobacco.
