Mc Arthur 5 Star vs Standard The Mac Arthur is named after the founder of the Corn Cob pipe according to the original design from the 1800's. The standard version has a large deep bowl which will keep many smokers going for many hours. The 5 star has a shorter bore which finishes half way up the bowl for a shorter smoke. If you can't decide between the two go for the standard and you can always half fill the pipe or fill the base with chalk filters or the Nording keystone filters.
