Queen Elizabeth II Elizabeth (April 1926 – September 2022) served as Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland from the 6th of February 1952 until her death on the 8th of September 2022. Her coronation took place on 2 June 1953 in Westminster Abbey, an event that was televised for the first time, being watched by 20 million people world-wide. At her coronation, Elizabeth II became queen to 7 independent countries and Head of the Commonwealth. Over the course of Her Majesty’s reign, the Commonwealth grew from just seven nations to 56 members, representing more than 2.5 billion people, more than a third of the world's population. She was served by 15 UK Prime Ministers during her reign, beginning with Sir Winston Churchill in 1952, as well as many Prime Ministers across her Realms. The Queen, as she was known world-wide, was extremely popular during her 70-year tenure and demonstrated an irreproachable sense of duty and devotion to a life of service with calmness, wisdom and a good sense of humour, demonstrated again during the Platinum Jubilee celebrations in 2022.

Dunhill White Spot Platinum Jubilee Pipe The limited edition Queen’s Platinum Jubilee 2022 pipes have been specifically created in memory of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and to celebrate the remarkable achievement of her 70-year Platinum Jubilee in 2022. The name of the pipe shape chosen for this edition has a royal connection – after receiving our first Royal Warrant as Tobacconist to Edward, Prince of Wales (the uncle of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II), Alfred Dunhill commissioned and named a special Prince shape (old shape 314) after the Prince of Wales (who later abdicated as King Edward VIII). This elegant Prince shape in size group 3 (3407) has been fitted with a 950 Platinum band engraved with THE QUEEN’S PLATINUM JUBILEE 2022, which also was stamped with a special Platinum Jubilee hallmark (in addition to the standard hallmarks) at the London Assay Office. Your pipe is accompanied by a royal blue leather pouch, embossed with the official Platinum Jubilee logo and comes with a numbered and hand-signed limited edition certificate.
