Dr Plumbs 6mm Filtered Pipes: The Dr Plumbs 6mm Pipes are a traditionally designed Briar smoking pipe finished in a rich, deep red stain for a very noble appearance, which blends modestly with the natural grain of the Briar. As the name would suggest they are designed for use with the Dr Plumbs 6mm filters, which is in essence a roll of highly absorbent paper. This allows a fairly unrestricted smooth draw whilst the large surface area of the highly absorbent paper that the smoke passes over absorbs the maximum amount of tar without restricting the draw. No mess no fuss, simply throw the filter in the bin when it turns a dark brown colour.

Dr Plumbs 6mm Filtered Smoking Pipe 4407-1772 The Dr Plumb 6mm Bent Billiard has a traditional appearance but is a bit of a unique shape, which we are calling a horn but technically it isn't. It has a conical shaped bowl which is very comfortable and easy to grip as well as being striking on the aesthetics front. The pipe is designed for use with the 6mm absorbent filters. The Dr Plumbs 6mm range are based on more traditional shapes and sizes, with good thick walls and a reasonable length, which prevents overheating and helps provide a cooler more enjoyable smoke, which isn't found with smaller pipes.

Alternative Filter Options: The 6mm pipes are now also supplied with an alternative metal condensing filter for those that prefer this style or as a backup for when you run out of the absorbent filters. The cool metal filter causes condensation in the pipe which helps draw impurities from the smoke.

The pipes have a standard 6mm bore so can be used with any brand of 6mm filter if preferred. Alternatively the filter can be removed altogether for smokers who prefer a totally un-restricted full on smoke.
