Chris Askwith Hailing from Plymouth in the Southwest of England. Chris has been making pipes by hand since 2007. After spending his spare time restoring estate pipes he met Paul Hubartt of Larryssons pipes who gave him the opportunity to create his first dozen pipes, which he used to equip his own workshop at home where all his Askwith pipes are now made. Made from only the finest Briar, English Morta, and strawberry wood, Askwith pipes are some of the very few made in England that look to the classic shape charts. His sandblasting and smooth finishes are fantastic and one will encounter very delicate and precise hand-cut stems from Lucite, Ebonite, Cumberland, and Horn. Each piece is fitted with a delrin tenon and can be a study in engineering perfection. Many English pipes are made well, but Askwith pipes are steps above in quality compared to mass produced pieces in nearly every way possible.

Standing Dublin This stunning example of Chris's work sees an incredible piece of Bog Oak turned into a true work of Art, This free-standing extended Dublin shape is perfectly balanced and sits unaided on it's interestingly angled flat bottom. The grain on this bog oak is exquisite and runs perfectly around the bowl and up the shank. Finished with a cream coloured mouthpiece and blue band.

ONE OFF PIPE: This is a one off pipe and the pipe in the picture is the exact pipe you will receive. Please note that colour varies depending on your computer monitor and may not replicate the colour exactly.
