Butz Choquin Carat Liseuse Churchwarden: Well Butz Choquin can never be accused of being average. They always seem to be breaking the boundaries of pipe design and producing something different. The Carat Liseuse is a large Churchwarden with a very uniquely shaped bowl with an attractive shell styled mounting, which securely holds the mouthpiece. It is nice to see that the mouthpiece is more robust than standard churchwardens so it should stand up to a bit more abuse if your the type who drops your pipes regularly. The pipe is very well balanced for a Churchwarden and as always the grain on the Briar is beautiful and finished in a rich orangey brown stain.
