Brebbia Brebbia was initially the result of a partnership between Brebbia founder Enea Buzzi and Achille Savinelli of Savinelli pipes, the pair began manufacturing pipes in 1947 in Italy and now produce nearly 35 thousand air cured briar pipes annually. Brebbia continue an almost 70 year tradition of pipe making, following the same 50 step process, They use the same antique machine lathes for the early stages of pipe production while finishing every piece by hand. The designs are modern takes on Italian classics, and are often smooth, sandblasted in a tumbler or wire wheel rusticated. Some of the stems are hand cut from cumberland rod, but the majority are preform vulcanite or acrylic bits, and all tenons are a Brebbia designed inserted tenon which often fit a sleeved mortise.

Pipa Mara Bianca The Mara Bianca is a unique bent Apple from Brebbia. It’s made from lime wood with a Meerschaum bowl lining. Lime wood is a soft, porous wood that is easy to shape and the meerschaum lining protects the chamber from getting burned. The amber-colored acrylic stem is a perfect accent to the brilliant white pipe. You’re not likely to see another pipe like it anytime soon

MARBLED STEMS: The marbled mouthpiece in this picture is a one off and is unlikely to be the exact mouthpiece you will receive. There is variation from pipe to pipe with substantial differences in colours, patterns and marbling.
