Stanwell Pipe of the Year 2008 “How the hell do you have some of the 2008 pipes of the year in stock” we hear you cry. We will forgive you for thinking we are bad at stock control or our sales staff aren’t doing their jobs properly but the truth being we heard rumours that Stanwell had discovered an unsold batch of the 2008 pipes of the year so we got on the dog and bone and snapped em up! Usually most manufacturers make the pipe of the year overstated and large, which simply doesn’t suit everyone. When Stanwell released this pipe it was very popular as lovers of smaller pipes could buy a limited edition premium Briar. It is a beautiful half bent sandblast with beautiful curves for a very elegant and comfortable pipe. We love the subtly carved line around the base of the bowl and the smooth contrasting red stain on the rim of the bowl and tip of the shank against the rich black sandblast. The underneath of the shank is stamped “Stanwell 2008” on a 925 sterling Silver plaque to identify it as a premium Limited Edition Pipe.
