  Sit back relax and enjoy many years of variation. As you smoke a Meerschaum the pipe will change color as the oils soak through the porous clay revealing deep red and golden browns, which will clarify the carving and will vary as the the pipe thickness varies.

  The Peterson Sherlock Holmes “THE BAKER STREET” Meerschaum Pipe is part of Petersons top grade Meerschaum collection. It is a classic straight Bulldog famed for its diamond shaped stem and the famous double groove that helps the pipe cool. If smoked with some nice dark Cavendish over a few years oils will turn the inner groove a deep orange/red, while the outer side shoudl be a light sandy colour. As with the rest of the Sherlock Holmes Meerschaum collection it is finished with a hall marked sterling Silver Band bearing the Peterson logo and is completed with Petersons unique P.Lip mouthpiece.
